ThinkYoung was among the organisations which prepared a workshop for the Summer JADE Meeting 2009, which was held in Prishtina, Kosovo, between July 16th and 19th.

The synopsis of the ThinkYoung workshop, "The Elevator Pitch":

What if, running into an elevator, you had in front of you Bill Gates?

What if you had 55 seconds to present him your business idea?

What if he likes your idea?

People decides in 10 seconds if they like you, usually in 30 seconds to evaluate your skills, and in 60 seconds if they will help you or not…

As my grandmother was used to say: “you never have a second chance to make a good first impression…..”

This course is about this and about smiling…. Because nothing convince better your customers than your happiness

Summer Jade Meeting was the most important event of the Junior Enterprises network which aimed at gathering in one place 150Junior Entrepreneurs from across Europe including students from the local universities based in Prishtina and to promote the exchange of the experiences as well as the internationalization of the projects between members of Junior Enterprises.More than 15 countries were represented and it was an opportunity to establish direct contact with the most entrepreneurial young people from Europe.

The main objectives of the project were to:

• Create opportunity for high level knowledge exchange

• Introduce Kosovo to European Businesses and networks

• Promote the Junior Enterprise Concept in South East Europe

• Promote network and international projects and partnerships

• Experience and intercultural exchange

• Foster Entrepreneurship and enterprise development

The main topic of the meeting was “Sustainable Development in the 21st Century”.
