Our 5 Fields of Action

We aim to contribute to the policymaking in Europe through open, documentaries, fact-based surveys, analysis and conferences made by European citizens under the age of 30.
We do this through five fields of action:

Bridging Gaps: We believe bridging gaps between European youngsters is a key element to improve integration in Europe. Having this in mind, we want to strengthen tolerance and mutual understanding between different cultures, by offering several digital and physical exchanges between young Europeans. Our goal is to show young Europeans the diverse living conditions and necessities in European countries. We do this by comparing situations within a variety of countries, such as the Western Balkans.

Digital Natives: The generation of people born after the 1980s is suitably titled the ‘Digital Natives’. As a consequence we endorse the internal and external use of digital tools in order to increase innovation in Europe. Hence, we represent this through our unique view on surveys, straying from the standard questionnaire format, doing our field research using video documentaries, which is allowing us to get real in-depth opinions and expressions.

Energy and Environment: Since the world is becoming more conscious about environmentalism and energy, we want to ensure that young Europeans have a say in their future. In this regard, we are leading an initiative to increase awareness and allow young Europeans to raise their voice on the matter. Our upcoming projects will focus on developing a useful platform to give European youth associations, concerned with sustainable development, more visibility. We want to improve their network across Europe, while sharing and enhancing their knowledge on this topic.

Education: We invest in young people’s education to create better citizens for tomorrow, which is one of our significant interests. Our goal is to develop an infrastructure where we offer learning programmes such as the upcoming Political Winter School. Our video documentaries and projects do not only educate European institutions, personnel and bureaucrats on the thoughts of young Europeans, but also young Europeans about their peers. This is why we strive to implement a successful ‘education’ scheme into our project policies.

Entrepreneurship: We are trying to improve the confidence of young Europeans to develop their own entrepreneurial ideas by boosting their skills and faith to develop their own businesses. We are helping to create a new generation of entrepreneurs that will ultimately contribute to stimulate Europe’s economy and increase innovation. Our Entrepreneurship Summer School was a perfect example of it.

How we implement our 5 fields of action, our activities:

Surveys: This is how we started ThinkYoung. We currently run pan-European surveys on a database of 7.000 Europeans under the age of 30 years old. Click to see our surveys.

Publications: Our editors produce weekly articles and conduct monthly research papers. Click to see our publications.

Documentaries: We believe that researches can be done with words and papers but also with images and sound. We produce documentaries to attempt an understanding of various cultural phenomena and provoke discussions and debates. Click to see our documentaries.

Conferences: We both organize conferences to present the results of our projects and help other organizations as "knowledge partners" to set up round tables, panel discussions, workshops and trainings. Click to see our conferences.
