G7 Evian Policy Breakfast

Held in the context of the G7 summit taking place in Évian, where youth protection has been set as one of the key priorities, this closed-door roundtable will bring together high-level policymakers, educators, researchers, technology experts, youth representatives, and civil society stakeholders to discuss how artificial intelligence is shaping young people's lives, particularly in the field of education.

  • Wednesday, 17 June 2026,
    from 08:00 to 10:00am

  • Agora Restaurant, Centre Nautique,

The conversation will explore the lessons learned from the rapid adoption of AI over the past three years, examining both the opportunities it creates for learning, skills development, and inclusion, as well as the challenges it presents for young people, teachers, and families.

The discussion will be informed by preliminary findings from ThinkYoung’s latest research, supported by OpenAI. The research focuses on teenagers’ use of AI at school and at home, teacher confidence in using AI tools, and the role of parents in guiding young people’s engagement with these technologies.

Featured speakers include:

  • Chris Lehane, Chief Global Affairs Officer of OpenAI

Additional speakers will be announced soon.
